A strengths paradigm believes each person has talents. Our talents are grounded in the things we loose track of time when we do them. These are things that you enjoy and have the capacity or technical skills to do. These talents can be developed into strengths.

A strengths-based approach doesn’t ignore weakness, but it aims to use ones strengths to help manage areas of weakness. By uncovering areas of strength, we have the keys to fulfilment in a future career or college major. Developing talents into strengths can also help in life coaching to identify areas where talents can be exercised, leading to growth.

We use the StrengthsFinder assessment, created by Don Clifton. This assessment identifies what is it that people do right. The Clifton StrengthsFinder is backed by positive psychology that also aims to understand what are the traits that help people find fulfilment, joy, and how to thrive in, in life.

How Do I Take the Test?

After you take the assessment, schedule a meeting to understand your results and how to use them to move forward in life, your career, or discovering the perfect college major.
